TextLens uses Tesseract.js, a well-established open-source OCR engine. While Tesseract.js is widely used and capable of high accuracy on suitable images, OCR results are not guaranteed to be 100% accurate under all conditions.
Accuracy can be significantly affected by:
- Low image resolution or poor image quality
- Unusual, decorative, or handwritten fonts
- Poor lighting, shadows, or uneven backgrounds
- Image rotation, distortion, or perspective warping
- Very small text or very dense text layouts
- Mixed languages within a single image
- Non-standard characters or symbols

TextLens relies on third-party open-source technology, including Tesseract.js. We are not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or outages originating from these third-party libraries. Tesseract.js is maintained by its own open-source contributors, independent of TextLens.
TextLens also loads resources from Google Fonts and jsDelivr CDN. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of these third-party services.
